Hey guys,
The Bandits are a strong side, having previously played Div1 in the Exeter league, they have switched back to the Solent league, being right on the boundary. SABA then took their usual stance that new teams must start at the bottom and work up, even if that means, like the Phoenix last year, a year of little competition in their games. I have spoken to them and without asking them to go easy, given them the opportunity to give their weaker members minutes. They do have a junior team the Raiders, who we beat easily a few years back in this league and cup, but none of those players are registered to play. However, by their own admission "some have been playing for years, in their late 30's and the legs aren't there anymore"... so lets get ready for Seahawks Run and Gun Offence. [maybe evenI may feel young and youthful?]
I have to assume that the kit that ships today or tomorrow is not going to arrive in time for Thursdays game, as it is coming from Germany, but you never know. So with the limited spare kit, the team is:
